We’re delighted to welcome you to Glasgow for our 2024 business archives conference ‘Liquid Gold: realising the potential of your business archive collections’. The draft conference programme is available and the conference available for bookings now via whitefuse.
Our hosts The Macallan have provided an excellent city centre location and there are details below of how to find the venue, travel to Glasgow and accommodation options.
Venue
The conference will be held at 100 Queen Street, the headquarters of the Edrington Group where we are being hosted by The Macallan and their archive team. The venue (shown below) is in the city centre of Glasgow, opposite the Gallery of Modern Art with its famous Duke of Wellington statue and traffic cone.
It is easy walking distance from the two major train stations in Glasgow (Central – <10mins and Queen Street <5mins) and from the Buchanan Street Subway station (which will allow for easy access from Glasgow’s West End should attendees which to base themselves there).
