24 Nov Conference: Back to Basics – Business Archives in the wake of the pandemic (November 2022)
The Business Archives Council of Scotland welcomed the chance to return to an in-person conference in 2022. This was held in Edinburgh at the offices of Abrdn on George Street. Virtual attendance tickets are also available for this event and a link to online viewing will be provided. The conference talks will not be recorded. The event was sponsored by TownsWeb Archiving.
The theme of the conference explored the idea of the world adapting to the new normal in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Business Archives Council of Scotland have decided to go ‘Back to Basics’. This conference is an opportunity to explore core record keeping principles and practices and reflect on whether any changes necessitated by the pandemic have become part of your new normal?
