The Business Archives Council of Scotland in partnership with the Paisley Centre for Business and Industrial History at the University of the West of Scotland delivered a one day conference on Wednesday 27th June as part of the Paisley Townscape Heritage and Conservation Area Regeneration Programme (Paisley TH.Cars2).
The conference examined Paisley’s industrial and cultural heritage, with a keynote address by Professor John Hume, other subjects include: Paisley Abbey Rentals; Alexander Wilson; The Government School of Design; Peter Brough; Paisley Philanthropy; and AF Craig. Papers from the conference will form a special Paisley themed issue of the journal in 2019.
