Training Day for Corporate Archivists – Celebrating Anniversaries (August 2014)

There are few training events that are truly relevant to archivists in corporate environments. Following feedback and in addition to our annual AGM and conference BACS delivered a training event exclusively for our corporate members.

This was held in Menstrie on Wednesday 13th August 2014 at the Diageo Archive. The focus of the afternoon was anniversaries. It included a presentation on celebrating the Diageo Archive’s 20th anniversary and a round table discussion included past and up-coming anniversary activities and the First World War centenary. It focused specifically on how to engage with the business, sharing hints and tips, best practice and experiences.
